A glimpse of what happens after the running break…

Hello world.

With my 2-week absence from running, I decided to pretty much take a break from blogging, but I am still here and I will be back fully. 🙂

My 2-week running break actually officially ends today. I am extending it for the weekend – just because I can. I was reminded though today that running is in my future. I received my British 10k-race shirt today. It looks quite pretty. The race is in 2 weeks, so it might be a well-rested race. It should be great! Let me know if you are running, maybe we can have a little blogging runner’s reunion!

Other good news came my way as I won a ticket to one of the Olympic sailing events. The event is in Dorset, but it is on a Saturday, so I decided, definitely a good reason to leave the city for a day or two and watch a medal-bearing sailing event.

Happy weekend!

Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time.

  1. I’m glad you’ve had a nice rest! After taking a week off, I felt way better and was running faster!

And enjoy the sailing event. Sounds like so much fun!!
