About me

I am a runner trying to live healthy and happily. I run for charities and measure in smiles rather than time. I enjoy the sun when it rises when I am running. I enjoy the laughter and chatter of other runners and walkers as I trod along a running path or race. Every run I run that makes me smile is a good one. I am planning to have plenty of those this year!

I have lived in Germany, the UK and the US. Currently, I live in London. I took up long distance running in Austin, TX with Team in Training and will always have a special bond with both, the city and the team.

Happy Running!

  1. Excellent Blog. Love the pieces on the Olympics, its great to see and hear from what I like to say a “normal” persons perspective. Also great to see photos that are not the ones you generally see in the papers and on the net by journalists. Love IT!

    • Thanks so much. There are better writers than me covering the actual sports at the Olympics. I like to show more of the hidden fun parts that you’ll only get to see when you are in town. It is so inspiring. I really want to go to Brazil now in 2016. 🙂
